Conclusion

After many painful years Ruby Bridges, now known as Ruby Bridges Hall graduated from William Frantz School and worked as a travel agent for fifteen years. During those fifteen years she would visit schools including The William Frantz School, teaching the importance of Reading, Power of education, and integrations of races. Ruby's brother was killed in 1960 due to an drug related crime. This incident was one of many factors that inspired her to create the Ruby Bridges Foundation in 1999, to which she is now the chair of the orginization. Some of those many factors were to promote the values of tolerance, respect, and appreciation of all differences. Now she lives in New Orleans with her four sons, and could not be any happier with how she had helped improve the Civil Rights Movement. ruby bridges
