Ruby Bridges

Introduction

Ruby Bridges was an African American girl born September 8, 1954 in Tylertown, Mississippi. This young girl played an important role in the Civil Rights Movement without even realizing it. She did this by being the only black child to attend an all white school named Willam Frantz Public School, which was located in New Orleans. 2 younglife
